South America, Colombia and Venezuela - Comment

South America

Colombia

We landed in Colombia after one hour flight from Panama City.

The first impression of Cartagena was a very good one as the city is lovely with pretty streets and beautiful buildings. All in all the atmosphere did not seem as warm as the one that we found in Central America. We left after a couple of days heading along the coast to Santa Marta and later to a small village called Taganga. We treated ourselves with a delicious 2 hours dinner of fish.

Venezuela

We spent a day in Maracaibo and another one in Caracas. Both cities did seem without any character and identity. People were alright but not as friendly and warm as in Central America.
