Brazil and the Amazon

Here we are crossing the Venezuelan and Brazilian boarder during a very hot afternoon.

Manaus - Brazil

This is a nice view of Manaus from the boat that was taking us to the Amazon forest where we spent three days in the jungle.
The experience in the forest was fantastic. The weather was very hot and humid. We really enjoyed the wild life and the amazing atmosphere of the Amazon.

The above pictures show some of the beautiful sceneries and animals we had the opportunity to see. Tarantulas, caymans, piranhas, batterflies, enormous ants, and many more creatures were the main attracion of the excursion.

Here we are with our guides. The one on the lefthand side was crazy enough to catch a tarantula and a cayman with his bare hands.

Our comfortable bedroom where we spent two lovely and very noisy nights (frogs and birds).
